Dr. Chiang graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has received post-fellow training in stereotactic body radiotherapy in John Hopkins Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. He is currently the Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Oncology, the Centre of Cancer Medicine, the University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Chiang is specialized in treating liver and pancreatic cancer. He is renowned in pioneering the combined SBRT and immunotherapy and a novel combination called START-FIT in treating hepatocellular carcinoma. He published over 70 peer-review journals including Lancet Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Jama Oncology, Gut, Lancet Regional Health Western Pacific, Liver Cancer, and JAMA Network Open. Dr. Chiang is currently the president of Hong Kong Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy Study Group and Principal of Training Centre of Radiotherapy and Oncology, Gleneagles Hospital HK.
