MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: ISRS CONGRESS 2022 - FOCAL IS BETTER

As Congress President, I am happy to invite you to attend the 15th Congress of the International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS) in Milan, Italy.

ISRS board strongly believe that an in-person Congress is the best way to exchange ideas, and solutions and develop new strategies in patient care, in common with ISRS multidisciplinary development goals.

Milan is ideally located to host our 2022 Congress, at which we aim to promote multidisciplinary collaboration with the forward-looking mind-set that has always been ISRS’s spirit.

As you know, the use of single and multiple fraction radiosurgery to treat both brain and body lesions has gained momentum over the last few years, and turns out to be more promising than ever. In this scenario, new technologies are being developed for the treatment of focal lesions. This represents a challenge, which we should investigate in order to ensure that attendees are exposed to cutting-edge radiosurgery developments, in order to keep delivering the best possible treatments.

We believe that this congress can be the right place to take stock of the current situation, tackle the present challenges and turn them into opportunities for progress.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Milan, meanwhile you will be receiving all the necessary details for your participation in the event.

Laura Fariselli
ISRS President
