
Mark Pinkham is a Radiation Oncologist working at Princess Alexandra Hospital and ICON Cancer Care in Brisbane, Australia. His clinical academic practice involves almost exclusively caring for people with primary and secondary brain tumours. He is Professor at Caring Futures Institute, Flinders University where his research focusses on imaging, treatment and survivorship issues in people with these diseases. He has published >90 peer-reviewed manuscripts and awarded AU$ >$21 million in competitive grant funding, collaborating with clinicians and researchers around Australia and internationally. He was inaugural Chair of the Central Nervous System working party with TransTasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG), is a long-serving member of the Scientific Advisory Committee within Cooperative trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO) and is Lead Investigator for Queensland within the Australian Brain Cancer Registry. He is Clinical Lead for the current Eviq guidelines for brain metastases, a national treatment reference body with >84,000 registered users from 171 countries.
