Dr Soon is a Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute in Singapore. He graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2009 and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute in October 2016. Additionally, he spent six months of his residency training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia. In May 2018, he earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology from Harvard University. He completed a PhD in clinical trial methodology at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, University of Sydney, in June 2025, along with a Master's degree in Biostatistics in December 2025. Dr Soon has a strong interest in research focused on lung cancer, clinical trials, and evidence synthesis.
