Ciro Franzese, MD, is Director of the Radiation Oncology Unit at Humanitas San Pio X in Milan and Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Humanitas University. With a clinical focus on prostate and other genitourinary tumors, liver cancer, and oligometastatic disease, he is internationally recognized for his expertise in stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
He serves as Full Expert in the ESTRO SBRT Focus Group, Coordinator of the AIRO Uro-Oncology Study Group, and Advisor within several national scientific societies, including SIURO and AIRO. He is Principal Investigator of multiple prospective clinical trial.
Dr. Franzese is also deeply engaged in academic teaching, coordinating several radiotherapy and diagnostic imaging courses across undergraduate, graduate, and advanced programs at Humanitas University.
