Rupesh Kotecha, M.D. is a board-certified radiation oncologist and a nationally recognized leader in the field of radiosurgery. He serves as the Chief of Radiosurgery, Director of Research in Radiation Oncology, and Director of the Central Nervous System (CNS) Metastasis Program at Miami Cancer Institute, where he spearheads advancements in cutting-edge cancer treatment. Dr. Kotecha holds academic appointments as a Professor in the Department of Oncological Sciences at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, and as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center—further testament to his national academic impact.

With specialized training in the most advanced radiation therapy techniques, Dr. Kotecha brings extensive expertise in treating both cancerous and noncancerous conditions. His clinical focus centers on stereotactic radiotherapy, utilizing platforms such as CyberKnife, LINAC-based systems, ZAP-X, and GammaKnife radiosurgery.
